Artist Bio

Born in Shreveport , Louisiana , Tom, his sister and their parents soon arrived in West Texas . Amidst oil wells and tumbleweeds, he was first exposed to art by artist, Lela Wilson.  Mrs. Wilson let the student be their own guide only stopping by to offer some advice or a little assistance.  From high school until 2001, the artist was buried under education and a career in healthcare technology.

While living in Austin , Texas ; the artist in Tom reemerged; slowly at first with drawings and progressing to pastels.  Informal adult art classes gave him encouragement to experiment with bolder subjects and color.  Moving to San Diego in 2003, with his partner Officer Wes , was a catalyst for more drawing, and the explosion of color in pastels and acrylics.

After some 30 years in hibernation, art has returned to bring joy on the paper and canvas.  May they bring you joy as well

Prints

Prints are made using the highest quality non-organic pigment based inks. Digital color matching to the original is performed prior to the print process to assure the highest quality color reproduction possible. Color fastness of the pigments is equal to the original or better.  Standard prints are on a heavy printing bond paper.  For additional cost,  a heavier watercolor textured high rag content paper is available.  Prints smaller than the original are available.  Price for each on request.
